Jeffrey Alan Maxie is a freelance Music Director, Producer, Artist and Composer. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he moved to NYC after college and has lived in Toledo for about 20 years.
A graduate from Wright State University with a BA in Organizational Studies, he worked in the Department of Music as a Staff Accompanist during his years at the University. He formerly served as the Music Director for a network of churches and has had experience in theatrical shows at Wright State University as well as other theatre groups across the region including The Dayton Playhouse and The Toledo Repertoire Theatre.
Jeffrey is the owner of Jamajojo Music and J Alan Music and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for The Toledo Jazz Orchestra and is the Board Treasurer for Operation Surprise Attack. He believes that small acts of kindness are so important and can affect so many people. His wish is that through his music, and life, he will be able to impact others.
